Prior to graduation, the designation “PYT-C” or Professional Yoga Therapist-Candidate, can be used as a professional credential after your name.
Example: If a licensed health care professional, for example a PA-C, is enrolled as an active student in
the PYT program, he will use the following credentials: John Smith PA-C, PYT™-C
After successfully completing all Requirements and receiving approval for Graduation (make this a link), the designation “PYT” or Professional Yoga Therapist can be used as initials after your name.
Example: John Smith PA-C, PYT™
At the time of graduation, you will also be eligible for recognition as a “RYT”, or Registered Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Alliance. The Yoga Alliance is a voluntary, nonprofit National accrediting body for yoga teachers. Students must submit their credentials to Yoga Alliance to become registered.
Example: John Smith PA-C, PYT™, RYT
